"We must be honest and say frankly: there are some difficulties preparation for the Euro-2012 in other Ukrainian cities. It is the lack of terminal facilities to the high possibility of receiving, stadiums, places to house guests and participants of football fans, convenient transportation networks. now Odessa best chance to obtain the status of major cities, as well as some cities could not reach a final decision, "- said commission member Gambuto Mathelo.
UEFA members of the committee, accompanied by representatives of the mayor's office asked the Odessa objects associated with the Euro-2012, as well as get acquainted with the sights of the city and its football tradition.
The main section of Odessa electronic presentation was devoted to the prospects of development of the city over the next four years - building new sports arenas, hotels, hospitals and other infrastructure and the state of preparation for the Euro-2012.
